去年の夏休みレポートの続きです。
ポーランド北東の都市「ビャウィストク」から東に向ってドライブ。
クリンキという村を経由し更に東の村「クルシニャニ」へ。
It is a continuation of last summer’s vacation report.
Drive to east from Poland’s north-eastern city of Bialystok.
We visited the village “Kruszyniany” further east through the village “Krynki”.
少し行けばベラルーシとの国境も近い地域。
Region close to the border with Belarus.
お目当ては村の中心にある緑色の建物。
The aim is a green building in the center of the village.
伝統的なイスラム教徒であるタタール人のモスクです。
It is a traditional Muslim Tatars mosque.
その起源は、チンギスカンのモンゴル帝国の子孫による国々までさかのぼることができるとのこと。
モスクの中を見学し、タタール人(リプカ)の方から歴史を含む色々な説明を聞いたのですが内容は分かりませんでした。あーポーランド語が分かればなあ。

It is said that their origin can be traced back to countries by the descendants of Genghis Khan’s Mongolian Empire.
I visited the mosque inside and heard various explanations from Tatar (Lipuka)’s guide including history, but I did not understand the contents. Oh, I wish I knew Polish.

I could get a glimpse of the history of coexistence of different cultures in this village.
