台湾からやってきたのはマレーシアのクアラルンプール。

多文化共生都市。

I came to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from Taiwan.
A multicultural city.

台湾も暑かったのですがクアラルンプールも暑い！

暑すぎる！！

暑くて動けないので昼寝。

エアコンがガンガン効いたホテルの外からはアザーンが聞こえてきます。

Taiwan was hot, but Kuala Lumpur is also hot!
It’s too hot! !
It was hot and I could not move, so I took a nap.
Adhān can be heard from the outside of the hotel where the air conditioning works harder.

日が落ちてから動き出すことに。

お目当てはミニ四駆取扱店。

近場(といっても片道1時間弱かかる)の店舗が二つ。

名前を知らない方に行くことに。

ローカル列車とバスを乗り継いで目的地に到着！

のはずが店舗が見当たらず。

GoogleMapで指し示す場所にいるはずなんですが、屋台と集合住宅しかありません。

ひょっとして個人宅でやっているのかとい思い、集合住宅の周りをウロウロ。

It’s time to move after the sun falls.
The aim is a Mini 4WD shop.
There are two stores nearby (each shop take one hour for one way).
I decided to go to the shop where I did not know the name.
I arrived at my destination with changing local train and bus.
But the shop should not be found.
I should be in the location indicated by GoogleMap, but there are only stalls and an apartment.
I thought that It is operated in a private home, and I wandered around the apartment.

らちが明かないので、通りがかりの人に声をかけ、一緒に地図を見てもらいましたが知らないとのことでした。

ですが一人の青年から

「別のお店だけど、あっちの通りをまっすぐ歩いていくとタミヤのロゴが表示してあるお店があるから、そこに行くとミニ四駆も取り扱ってるかもね。もうこの時間だから閉まってるかもしれないけど。」

との有り難い話を聞きました。

As I was not clear, I called out to the passing people and I saw the map together but they didn’t know well. Then one young man told me “There’s an another shop, if you walk straight along the street there is a shop that displays the Tamiya logo, so if you go there you may also find Mini 4WD. But the shop may be closed because it’s late now.”

道なりに歩くこと5分ほど。

ツインスターロゴを発見！！やったぜベイビー！！

どうやらお店は建物の2階にあり階段を上がっていく様子。

入り口に入ろうとすると一階の食堂でこちらを見つめる男性の姿が。

構わず階段を上がっていくと、、、

 

閉まってました。

It takes about 5 minutes to walk along the road.
I found the Twin Star marks! ! I got it, baby! !
Apparently, the shop is going up the stairs on the second floor of the building.
When I try to enter the entrance, the figure of a man staring at this in the dining room on the first floor
If I go up the stairs anyway,,,

It was closed.

 

その後後ろから声をかけられ振り返ると、さっきの男性。

こちらの店主でした。

After that, when I was called out from behind and looked back, the previous man.
He’s the shopkeeper here.

 

「そのTシャツを着てたからうちのお客さんだとすぐに分かったよ！」とのこと。

日本からの旅行者である旨を伝えミニ四駆話で盛り上がりました。

なんでも、私が最初に向かおうとしてたお店は既に閉店しているとのこと。

つい先日も日本人レーサーが遊びに来たよということで写真を見せてもらうと、有名なチャンピオンズ認定選手2人の姿が。皆さん好きねえ。

オリジナルの5レーンコースも拝見。

 

パーツを購入。

お土産にオリジナルTシャツをもらいました。Terima kasih.

連絡先を交換し帰りはバスではなく駅までの近道を教えてもらいお店を後に。

素敵な思い出になった。

 

はずでした。

I told him that I was a traveler from Japan, and we got excited about the topic of Mini 4WD.
He said that the shop I was trying to go to first was already closed. When he showed me a picture and told that Japanese racers came to the shop the other day, they were two famous Champions certified racers.

He also showed me the original 5 lane course.
I bought the original parts.
I got an original T-shirt as a souvenir.

駅について券売機をの表示を見て愕然。

 

終電終わっとる。。。

 

スマホのバッテリーも残りわずか。

 

現金はほとんどホテルに置いたまま。

 

クアラルンプールのセントラルまで歩く気力はなし！

This day should have been a wonderful memory…

however

I found  that the last train was over.
The battery of the smartphone was too little.
I left most of cash at the hotel.
I did not have the strength to walk to Central in Kuala Lumpur.

とりあえずクアラルンプール方面へ歩きながらタクシーを捕まえるも

クレジットカード利用不可の回答。

再度別のタクシーを捕まえホテルの部屋に現金がある旨を話し、乗せてもらうことに。

よかった。

Anyway, I call a taxi while walking towards Kuala Lumpur but the driver said that credit card was not available.
I caught another taxi again, told the driver that there’s cash in the hotel room, and he took me to the hotel.

Nice.

やっとこさホテルに着いてあとはシャワーを浴びて寝るだけ！としたかったのですが

洗濯物が溜まっていたので近所のコインランドリーへ。

クアラルンプールは夜も暑い。

ダッシュ！

After I arrived at the hotel, I wanted to take a shower and go to bed, but I went to the nearby laundromat because the laundry had accumulated.

Kuala Lumpur is also hot at night.
