去年の秋休み旅行の続きです。ローマ編。
わずか5ヶ月前なのに今では全く異なる様相の街とそこに暮らす人たち。新型コロナウイルスの猛威が早く収束することを願っています。
ロンドンから2時間20分のフライト。
アルプスを越えイタリアを南下。
去年行ったブラッチャーノ湖の上空を超えればすぐフィウミチーノ空港です。
飛行機の窓から見えるローマ郊外
入国は自動審査機を使用してパスポートを機械にかざすだけなのでスムーズな流れです。
審査機の側には男女の職員が立っており、僕が機械に向かおうとすると強面の男性職員が「ちょっと待った」とこちらに向かって来ました。
何だろうと思っていると僕の着ているジャケットをちらっとめくり中のTシャツを覗きながら
「そのロゴどこかで見たことあるぞ。子供の頃やっていた、、、そうタミヤだ！」
と言われました。
びっくりだぜ！！

そして当惑するこちらを見ながら女性職員がひとことクールな表情で「コニチワ」。
思わず「こんにちは」と返しましたが動揺しちまったぜ！
さすが世界のタミヤ！
タミTで有効なプロダクトマーケティングを手伝っているという話でした。
到着ゲートでは昨年同様ローマのミニ四レーサーダリオが迎えに来てくれていました。今回も彼が「遊びに来いよ」と呼んでくれました。グラッツィエ！
今回僕も参加する「第2回ミニ四駆スポーツトーナメント」の主催者です。
宿泊先にチェックイン後、一息ついて二人で移動。
腹が減っては一休さん。まずは食事。

旅行者らしい見知らぬおじさんが「ライトはいるかい？」とスマホライトをかざしてくれたおかげでいい絵が撮れました。
市内を散策。
市庁舎前で色々と語り合っているうちに街はすっかり暗くなる。
夕食はDarioオススメのピザ屋へ。
これが本当に美味い！！
東京にも出店予定だそう。行くしかない。
帰りも石畳の街をとにかく歩いたローマ初日。
パーラメント前を通りながら夜も暮れていく。

2019 Autumn Holidays⑤Rome Again
This is Roman series, the continuation of last fall holiday trip.
Just five months ago, now it looks completely different city and the people who live there. I hope that the menace of Covid-19 will converge soon.
2 hours 20 minutes flight from London.
Crossing Alps and toward south in Italy.
As soon as I passed over Lake Bracciano, which I visited last year, I’ll arrive at Fiumicino Airport.

Immigration is a smooth flow as you simply hold your passport over the machine using an automatic screening machine.
Male and female staff were standing by the machine, and when I tried to go there, a strong male staff came to me and said, “Wait a minute”.
As I wondered what happened, he glanced over my jacket and he looked into my T-shirt inside and said
“I’ve seen that logo before. I was doing it as a kid … it’s TAMIYA!”
Surprised!!

And the female staff, with a cool look, told me a bit of “KONICHIWA” to the embarrassed me.

At the arrival gate, Mini 4 Racer Dario in Rome was picking me up like last year. This year he invited me to Rome, too. Grazie!
He is the organizer of the “2nd Mini 4WD Sports Tournament” that I will participate in this time.
After checking in at the hotel, we took a break and went out.
We can’t play if we’re hungry. We had a meal.

At “Colosseo”We took a picture in front of Colosseo with the same composition as last year.
On a hill near ColosseoWe took a good photo thanks to a traveler holding a smartphone light while saying, “Do you need a light?”
Stroll around the city.
As we talk in front of the town hall, it gets dark outside.
We went to a pizza restaurant recommended by Dario.This is really delicious! !
This restaurant will also open in Tokyo. I must go there.
We walked the cobblestone town on the way back, on the first day of Rome.
The night goes by while passing by the parliament.
