今年も行って参りました！
I went there again this year!
Maker Faire Kyoto 2023が開催されている”けいはんなオープンイノベーションセンター”でのストリートミニ四駆イベントに参加。I took part in in Street Mini 4WD event at the “Keihanna Open Innovation Center” where Maker Faire Kyoto 2023 is being held.
コースは昨年と同じ登り坂のワインディングロード100m。マシン捌きに注意しないとすぐにバウンドします。
The course is a same 100m winding road with the uphill slope as last year. If you are not careful when controlling Mini 4WD, it’ll bounce quickly.
マシンは去年のイベントで使用したタイプ3シャーシをベースに足回りを軽量ワンウェイから大径ホイールに変更。
My Mini 4WD car is based on the Type 3 chassis used at last year’s event, but the wheels have been changed from lightweight one-way hub-locks to larger diameter wheels.
タイムは40.9秒。去年の最速タイムは私の出した44.4秒だったのでまずまずのタイムですな。
My time was 40.9 seconds. Last year’s my fastest time was 44.4 seconds, so it’s a decent time.
以前ローマに持っていったスーパーXシャーシのファイヤードラゴン jr.を投入。大径タイヤでスプリント仕様です。
I took the Super X chassis Fire Dragon Jr. that I had previously taken to Rome. It’s a sprint specification with large diameter tires.
結果は38.2秒。今回のイベント最速記録でした。やった。
The result was 38.2 seconds. This was the fastest record for the event. Yeah.
去年の自分に勝てたぜ！
I beat myself last year!
ふらっと通りかかった親子連れが多く興味を持っていました。子供たちが楽しんでいる姿を見られておじさんはとても嬉しい。みんなとても可愛かったです。次回開催があればまた参加したい。ありがとうございました。
Parents and children passing by were very interested in Street Mini 4WD. I’m very happy to see the children having fun. They were so cute. If there is another event, I would like to take part in again. Thank you very much.
