ゲームボーイアドバンスSPを分解。
Disassemble the Game Boy Advance SP.
古いゲームボーイアドバンスSPの中身を互換シェルに載せ替えていきます。ヒンジ部分の下記パーツだけはモールドが若干甘めで、バリを取ったりと加工が必要でした。
I’ll replace the inside parts of the old Game Boy Advance SP with a compatible shell. Only the following parts of the hinge part had a slightly loose mold, which required processing such as removing burrs.
液晶パーツが大きいのでシェルの内側を少し加工。
Since the LCD parts are large, I processed the inside of the shell a little.
新しい方を組んでいきます。
I’ll assemble the new one.
ハンダ付けが完了したところ。
The soldering is completed.
バッテリーを取り付け。
Install the battery.
ジャーン！完成です。
Ta-dah! Done!
通常版と共に並べてみます。
With the normal version
画面の明るさを比較。
Compare screen brightness.
左が通常版のフロントライト。右がIPS液晶。
The left one is the normal version of the front light. The right one is IPS LCD.
全然違いますね。IPS液晶は明るさの調節も可能です。
It’s completely different. The brightness of the IPS LCD can also be adjusted.
電源を入れた状態を比較。左は通常版でフロントライトは点灯していない状態。右はIPS液晶の一番暗い状態。
Comparing these two models with the power turned on. The left is the normal version and the front light is not lit. The right is the darkest state of the IPS liquid crystal version.
左のフロントライトを点灯。
The front light of the GBA SP on the left is on.
今度はIPS液晶版(SFC型)を一段階明るくします。
This time, make the IPS liquid crystal version (SFC type) one step brighter.
もう一段階明るくします。
Make it one step brighter.

写真ではちょっと違いがわかりにくいかも知れません。
が、この快適さを知ったらフロントライトにはもう戻れない！
It may be a little difficult to see the difference in the picture, but once you know this comfort, you can’t go back to the front light anymore!
価格もだいぶ小慣れてきた様子なのでゲームボーイアドバンスSPをお持ちの方はIPS液晶への交換はオススメですよ。
It seems that the price has dropped considerably, so if you have a GameBoy Advance SP, I recommend replacing it with an IPS LCD.
今回購入した液晶は安価だったのでゲームによっては若干残像が表示されますが気にならない程度。
The LCD I bought this time was cheap, so some afterimages may appear depending on the software, but it’s not a concern.
