今年イタリアで開催されたミニ四駆サファリ タイプ3という長距離レースで2kmを完走した選手に贈られるメダル。
A medal given to a racer who completed 2km in a long-distance race called Mini 4WD Safari type 3 held in Italy this year.
カンパニア産パスタ。これがめちゃ美味いんです。
Pasta, it’s from Campania. This is really delicious.
トスカーナ産トマトの剥き身缶、ウンブリア産オリーブオイル、シチラリア産イワシの缶詰

イタリア人スタッフによって描かれたディズニーブランドの漫画「トポリノ」と、イタリアの最も重要な宇宙飛行士、ルカ・パルミターノが書いた本。日本についても少し言及しているらしいので見つけるのが楽しみです。表紙をめくるとダリオからの日本語のメッセージも！そしてジャンニ・モデリッシモのステッカーも封入されていました。
Disney brand cartoon “Topolino” drawn by Italian staff, and “VOLARE” it’s a book written by Luca Parmitano, the most important astronaut of Italy. The book also mentions Japan a bit, so I’m looking forward to finding it. I also got a Japanese message from Dario inside the cover and Gianni Modelissimo stickers were also included.
早速調理♪ダリオ直伝のアマトリチャーナや、ナポリタンを作りました。
I made Amatriciana that Dario taught me, and Napolitan . ＊”Napolitan” is a Japanese pasta dish created in Japan.
イタリア料理は美味い！！

俺のホライゾン⑤/My “HORIZON”⑤
雨の日に塗装。
I painted this body on a rainy day.
案の定失敗。
Sure enough, it failed.
ガビガビでやんす。
It’s zigzag.
もち筆でお直し塗装します。先は長い。
Of course, I will repaint it with a brush. It takes long time to complete.
塗装が乾くのを待つ間に久しぶりにマックを購入。
I bought a Mac after a long time while waiting for the paint to dry.
なんやらかんやら物が増えていく。
Somehow things are getting more and more.

左が今回購入した方。同じ13インチですがかなりスリムに。
The one on the left is the new one. It’s the same 13 inches, but quite slim.
右の古い方はバッテリーもパンパンに膨らんでます。
The old one on the right has the battery swelled up.
JISキーボードが売り切れだったのでUS配列のキーボードを選択。JIS keyboard was sold out, so I chose the US keyboard.
カナが表示されていない分シンプルな見た目。
It looks simple because no Japanese “KANA” character is displayed.

雨が続いて塗装不可。
前回径が大きすぎたパイプ。
今回は細いものを用意。
Unable to paint due to continuous rain.
A pipe whose diameter was too large last time.
I chose a thin one this time.
これならまあなんとかなるっしょ。
This would be manageable.
明日は晴れるかしら。
I wonder if it will be fine tomorrow.

というのは言い訳でミニ四駆の作業用に椅子を購入。
本日届きました。
I bought a chair for my Mini 4WD work, making the excuse that it would also help me work from home. I received it today.
オカムラのバロンです。
It’s one of Okamura’s Baron series.
動きやすいように肘掛けなし。
快適ざんす。
これで模型がはかどるどー。
I chose the armrestless version for ease of movement.
It’s comfortable. This will help my modeling.

径を間違えて購入。。。
I bought it with the wrong diameter…
成型して下地を吹いてヤスリをかけてホワイトを塗ったところ。
Molded, blown the base, sanded and painted white.
そういえば本日は部分日食。
By the way, a Partial solar eclipse was seen in Japan today.
僕の住んでいるところでは曇り空で見られませんでした。
I couldn’t see it because of the cloudy sky.
次はどこかで見たいものですな。

梅雨。
蒸し蒸し。
It’s the rainy season. It’s muggy.
左が製作中のホライゾン。右がノーマルホライゾン。
“Horizon” on the left is being assembled now. The right is the normal Horizon.
まだまだ成型中。It’s still being molded.
左は1mm程シャコタン。
On the left, the vehicle height is reduced by about 1 mm.
あまり変わらないように見えますね。
They don’t seem to make much difference.
おやつにビックリマンチョコ。
“Bikkuriman Choco” for snacks.
全95種。
全て揃えるのは無理そう。
All 95 types stickers.
It seems hard to collect all of these.

俺のホライゾン①/My “HORIZON”①
ついに梅雨入り！
The rainy season has come!
というわけでホライゾンを組み立てます。
So I’ll make “Horizon”.
もちろん496スタイルバンパーを使用！
Of course, I’ll use 496 style bumper!
キットのボディーはちょっともっこりしている印象なので
自分好みに改造手術じゃ！
The body of the kit has a slightly swelling look, so I’ll carry out remodeling surgery as I like!

フロント部分は皇帝のものを使用してニコイチ。
The front part uses the emperor’s body and joins two.
ミニ四駆をいじっているとあっという間に時間が過ぎて夕飯を食べるのを忘れてました。
I forgot to have dinner because I was crazy about doing Mini 4WD.
手術はまだまだ続きます。
The surgery will continue.

ネオVQS (VZシャーシ)/NEO VQS (VZ Chassis)
3月末に発売されたニューマシン。

今頃になってやっと組み立てました。
往年の名車『バンキッシュJr.』をリデザインした「ネオ VQS」
新登場の”VZシャーシ”
VSシャーシの性能をさらに磨き上げたのがVZシャーシだそう。
軸受パーツはPOM！
フロントバンパーとリヤステーは分割可能！
指定色のブラックとセミグロスブラックで塗装します。
キャノピー部分のみ上からスモークを吹いていますが違いが分かりにくい。
完成！
ステッカーのキャノピー部分はくり抜いています。
“ネオ”が見せる進化した走りに注目！ 
カッコいいぜ！VQS！！
